Hi Friends...i started trying out this and its really nice...for those who look for a light-weight,high speed application launcher i recommend LAUNCHY...it's customizable to ur needs and it's extremely fast...
Just type in the name of the application(similar to "search programs" in Windows Start menu)and click or press enter...It automatically shows suitable options which u can easily launch with a click on your mouse...it's almost 50x faster than ur start-menu appication laucnhing...

Have u tried avafind?? u can search for any file, folder, appln. anything in ur computer.. u can launch applications even..:)
ReplyDeleteYa...actually I accept Avafind as a good search tool..i use it and I've found out certain files,for which i dint even know about their locations...
ReplyDeleteLAUNCHY is just an application launcher with good performance quotient ...It doesnt maintain any cache like Avafind...it uses the same library indices of startmenu..so reducing much overhead unlike other search tools..
